(1850-1880) 19th century French ( in the manner of tunbridge ware) wooden tea caddy- Beautiful geometric honeycomb mosaic work and inlaid stars on top, multi-wood marquetry/parquetry pattern, inlaid diamonds marquetry box w/mother of pearl chartouche in center burlwood sides. the shapes a chamfered rectangular casket body w/central keyhole escutcheon -green lining, disclosure just the tea caddy tops missing and very slight age slit in wood on top (comps 700-1200)
